142,329 SF exhibit space and 45,600 SF classroom space

The new expansion will add 142,329 sf of exhibit space and 45,600 sf of classroom space to the existing museum for a total of 421,800sf. A new central plant as part of the expansion was designed to replace the existing central plant. It includes air conditioning equipment sized to serve the entire expansion as well as the 233,800 sf existing museum.
